Deathfest – August 2 - 4, 2013
Join us for a weekend of fun in Central Park, located next to the Grande Cache Recreation Centre on the corner of Hoppe and Shand Avenues.
Carnival Games & Rides:
There will be a wide range of activities for youth of all ages throughout the weekend!
Come and see Western Canada's premier reptile entertainment "Canadian Reptile Encounters" at DeathFest! See pythons, dragons, geckos, tarantulas and more with this interactive display. With educational information on each animal, incredible displays about reptiles from around the world, and live animals it is like the reptile zoo comes to life right in Grande Cache! Sunday Night Killer Concert:
This year's Concert will feature Tenillle, Small Town Pistols, and a The Hip Show (Tragically Hip Tribute Band)
Tickets available June 1st at the Tourism & Interpretive Centre, Grande Cache Recreation Centre, and Town Administration Office or over the phone by calling 1-888-827-3790.
Tickets: $25.00 each (5 & under free)
Death Racers: Show your Race Wristband at the door and get into the concert FREE compliments of the Northface Canadian Death Race
Food & Retail Vendors:
As always – there will be lots of great food and retail vendors to choose from. No need to cook this August Long Weekend! A list of vendors will be available once confirmed - so check back often!

Accommodations:
Grande Cache has a number of accommodations available. View your options here: http://www.grandecache.ca/visitors/accommodations
Deathfest Tent City:
Another option for accommodation within Grande Cache during Death Race is Tent City, located on the baseball fields at 104 Avenue and Memorial Drive (on the way to the Municipal Campground and Golf Course). There are no designated sites; choice of location is on a first-come, first-served basis; and there will be more than enough room for everyone! Please note that fires are not allowed. The rate is $25 per night per unit (i.e. tent, camper, RV). Included in the price is the use of showers and washrooms at the Rec Centre which will be open all night on Saturday. Payment is required on arrival, in cash.
