Grande Cache Crime Map
The Alberta RCMP supports community engagement by providing the public with the tools, resources and information they need to uphold public safety – for themselves and for their communities.
  • Grande Cache is committed to neighbourhood development, including innovative and responsive community policing.
  • The new online map enables the Alberta RCMP to share current criminal incidents with members of the communities we serve across Alberta.
  • The RCMP hopes that the map will help encourage citizens to report suspicious activity to the police which will strengthen our intelligence gathering capability and help us make arrests.

 About the Map:

  • Only certain crime types will be presented on the map:
    • Theft from Motor Vehicle;
    • Theft of Motor Vehicle;
    • Theft over / under $5000;
    • Break & Enter;
    • Mischief; and
    • Missing Persons.
  • Emergency Situation Flag. Flags would only be used in emergency situations and for very short periods (School Lockdown, unfolding dangerous situation, Evacuation, Train Derailment, ect.)
  • Plotted addresses will not be exact but rather a nearby intersection or street.
  • Entries will automatically be removed after 14 days
