Council passed the first reading of ByLaw 746 - To adopt the Grande Cache Municipal Development Plan and to rescind By-Law 595 and all amendments thereto upon third and final reading. It was reported that 30 members of the public and Town Administration were involved in the process of updating the MDP. It has been a very transparent process with three community open houses throughout the development. The new MPD focuses on clear actions to help make decisions and guide future development in the community.

A Public Hearing will be held July 18 @ 1:00  prior to Council proceeding with second, third, and final readings of the ByLaw  to adopt the Municipal Development Plan.
